Announcements
- Nicole accepted her "Blue" badge in a lavish ceremony.
- Kent gave the Rotary minute about Foundation month. Kent urged members that aren't sustaining members of the Foundation to begin budgeting $25 per quarter to do so.
- Greg shared details about the successful Club outing to the Country Dinner Playhouse to see "The Beauty and the Beast." 31 of the 34 folks that signed up attended and everyone was very impressed with the singing and costumes.
- Mark told of the recent coat program for the underprivileged in earthquake ravaged Pakistan. Scores of coats were donated and the sorting happened this Monday and Tuesday.
- Marcos informed members the Project Cure has lost their lease for sorting and must find a new warehouse by March, 2006. He will keep us updated.
Happy Bucks
- Jennifer gave a buck to celebrate The Ohio State Buckeyes win last week.
- Jeff donated to thank Paul for running our literacy program and implored members to help with the project's success by volunteering.
- Paul gave $2, one for the Broncos victory and the second for the outing at the Country Dinner Playhouse. Thanks, Greg.
- Dan H. seconded the dollar and thanks to Greg.
- Hugh donated his last dollar after recently visiting Las Vegas. He presented President Roxy with a flag from the LV West Club.
Randy donated two dollars, one because Mary doesn't have to take chemo and the other for Hugh making up in LV with Randy's friend, Tom Novotny.
- Kye gave money in thanks for their house closing and never having to make that drive through Kansas again.
- Laurie gave a dollar because she has a new job running a new library. Must not have included a raise.

Our Speaker: Ken Allen-David
Topic: Generating the Drive Within Yourself.
Sources to Seek:
- Soul--Look inward
- Passion--Follow your excitement. What you are excited about is possibly your passion.
- Natural Talents--Combine your passion with your natural talents equals "drive" or "passion."
- Be yourself--to be "yourself", you must find yourself. You must redefine yourself.
- Find a hobby.
- Motivation--It is short term and therefore find a supporting group. If your passion is helping people for example, join Rotary.
- Fear--When fear is present, this is direction you want to go.
- Commitment--Align the key things in your life.
- Drive--The excitement derived when following your passion. If you don't have drive, you need to proclaim yourself.
- Fulfillment--When you build upon yourself and you realize your soul, you fulfill the "Circle."

Marbles
Kai had her ticket drawn and after drawing the clear marble (well done!), collected the $10 consolation prize. Next week's pot will go over $550.
Thanks to Paul for notetaking and Dan H. for faxing them to me. Happy Thanksgiving to all, especially our "Missing" Rotarians.
