Presentation

Our Club Assembly was today's program and

Barb started off with Marcos' report on COMMUNITY SERVICE--

We have many projects going; Project Cure sorting, Habitat for Humanity, the Willow Creek clean-up, our State of the City event, the Family of Rotary (chaired by Tom B.) and Happy Feet. Randy gave a brief explanation of Happy Feet.

Greg followed with a report on VOCATIONAL SERVICE--

This avenue if difficult to identify and accomplish projects. Greg told us that it is more personal and involves ethics, respect and applying both in your business life. We are doing a literacy project at Sandberg Elementary and Kent is trying to get us a student for the upcoming RYLA in late July.

Dan R. covered INTERNATIONAL SERVICE--

We are participating in a World Community Service water project. The one now is outside Bombay and is updating a 300 year lead pipe system that carries water from Bombay to a village nearby. February 2-5 our Club will be hosting Youth Exchange students. We also will participate when the GSE team from Finland/Estonia visit this spring.

Roxy gave Dan H.'s report on CLUB SERVICE--

We have accomplished or have planned the following items; a bulletin, an up-dated website linked with the District site and soon to have secure member's only section, great fellowship activities such as; the Corn Maze, the Ski Train, a party at the Buck's in March, great programs set up by Bryan M. and presently Kay, roster up-dated by Greg, better communication brought to us by Roxy, our Wild on Tourism project chaired by the two Marks. We hope for more public relations during the second half of the year. One suggestion was to get the president-elect and president elect-elect mentioned in the local paper.

Marbles

Barb's ticket was drawn, with the pot near $760. The room exploded with glee when she drew a clear marble.

For some reason at this point, things got a bit raucous. Greg C. mentioned that President Roxy tried to regroup the meeting by saying "at any rate" at least 4 times.
