Announcements
- Kent announced our two visiting Rotarians, both from Denver Southeast. One was mentoring a new member, showing him the importance of making up by visiting other Clubs.
- Randy had guest Ben Diggman back for a second visit.
- Tom B. had his and Paul's neighbor back for another visit.
Other Announcements
- Kent implored members to look for sophomore or juniors to interview for the upcoming RYLA. The deadline is April 30.
- The upcoming painting project at the Denver Children's Home is moving along. Dan H. is working with both Home Depot and the Home. This was all made possible by Bob Slyter's work with the Depot.
- Randy showed the new Invocations books, 25 white cover and 25 blue cover. Randy and Mary also donated 100 shipping cartons for mailing them out. Roxy will coordinate with the president of the Englewood Club as far as distribution within our District.
- Tom B. reminded members of the fellowship event at the Buck household on the evening of March 24. The club will provide snacks, with Kent providing samples of his homebrew and others bringing what beverage they want.
- Roxy pitched District Conference again, April 28 in Vail.
- Randy had a traveling gift from trip to AZ delivering the 50 Invocation books to the Tempe South Club.
Happy Bucks
- Laurie was a dollar happy in welcoming back Ben.
- Nikki was 100 cents happy her tests are over.
- Paul gave his usual guilt money for scooting and because his neighbor was visiting again.
- Pete gave money because he noticed more members wearing their Rotary pins. (I think that is what the notes read?)
- Hugh's taxes are in and he is happy.
- Mark gave a buck for someone's Happy Birthday.
- Roxy was pleased that her daughter is interviewing for college and handling the adversity well.
- Jennifer gave money because of a new 5th wheel.
Speaker
Our own Mark Paller discussed Ethics in his presentation.
He questioned fellow members regarding ethics in medicine, business and education. It prompted a lively discussion and left members pondering what is ethical.
Marbles
