HANK IS HOME!!!

Youth Exchange this winter. We want to host the orientation. We did this last year.

Jeff P. pushed Project Cure and said that there will be a get-together at Outback at 5 p.m. first.

Evergreen has asked us to join them in a matching grant program for street kids in Kenya.

Dan Aiba, Project Cure shared some of his feelings about his military service and his passion for Project Cure.

Happy Bucks

  • Barb for her sister joining the Wheat Ridge Club.
  • Rick for the Rockies and scooting.
  • Dan H. for the same reasons.
  • Kent got to drive to see his son.
  • Jeff P. for getting to see his dad.
  • Roxy for our repeat visitors.
  • Randy for getting to baby sit Sophia, Ben and Rachel’s daughter.
  • Kye for her recent trip to Washington and she brought a travel gift.
  • Jenn for the Rockies and Buckeyes.
  • Jeff for Illinois victory on the gridiron.

Program

We had three ladies from the Colorado MS Society.

Unfortunately their video didn’t work. They shared with us info about their two main fundraisers. A large walk and huge bike ride.

Last year they had over 4000 participate in the bike ride.

The disease affects young adults between 20-50. It affects differently in different folks. It affects women more often then men.

People further north of the equator are affected more than those closer.

Scientists have developed several meds that help those afflicted.

They asked us for help in their events as volunteers. They need people at both of their large fundraising events, water stations etc.

The causes they know of are: gene markers, estrogen and possibly environmental.

Marbles

Randy had his number drawn and pulled clear.
