Our Program

Foundation gave their annual report to the club regarding activities of 2007. Current trustees are Randy, Marc, Bryan, Pete and Ken. Jennifer as President and Barb as Treasure are also trustees. Marc is Chair elect. Financials were circulated as were rules and regulations of the Foundation. A short summary was presented setting forth charitable requests that were funded; protocol and criteria used to review the requests were discussed. Members were thanked for their participation in being fully involved in our fund raising efforts, especially the State of the City, and how important continued fund raising efforts were in order to continue to increase the Foundation’s corpus and to meet needs of our community, both locally and nationally.

The need to be active in seeking additional fund raising opportunities was discussed as was the need to not get complacent with respect to current fund raising activities. The need for additional financial detail to define the source of income was discussed. The financial statements were approved as were the minutes of the January 2007 meeting. The term of Ken Hope is expiring. Nominations will be open until February 5th at which time a new trustee will be elected. Dan Hoopes nominated Ken Hope to serve for another term.
