  • Roxy--had a good time with her mother and enjoyed the ethics class
  • Jen--puppy is getting house trained

Classification Talk----Charlie and Mary Alice

Both have a long and very interesting careers
Now are retired
Have traveled the world a bunch with Charlie’s job with Uncle Sam

Mary Alice

Raised in Kansas and has very fond memories of visiting family in a farm in rural Kansas
Not many creature comforts there but great memories
Her children could not believe her stories of time spent there
Was a teacher in Arvada after graduating from college
Has very vivid memories of the day Kennedy was assisnated
Met Charlie and saw the world with him--while raising their kids
Came back home when Charlie was assigned to Viet Nam
Got into real estate late in life but really likes the action but is now retired
Presently doing some volunteer work but her most joy is spending time with her grandchild

Charlie

Grew up in New Hampshire
Was a Eagle Scout--and was really into scouting
After college traveled the country--to Alaska--ion gravel roads
Went to Bow din College and majored in liberal arts
Joined ROTC while in college
Was really into skiing from a early ge
Liked science, math and geology in college
Tried many different preliminary jobs to see what he really liked
Initial job was with IBM but branched into different things
Did 2 tours in Viet Nam
Has had a great career with the DOD and enjoys life to the fullest now
