RI President Wilf was presiding and many good ideas were exchanged. Jennifer used this time to implore us to bring visitors to meetings. Attendance requirements will soon be lowered to just 50%. This may make it easier for others to commit to Rotary. Please remember that we are all the Membership Chair. Hank gave us an update on his health. ProgramJoe Sabath and his side kick, Diana Hall-- Joe is the founder of the Colorado Speaker’s Association and author of two books. He has had guest appearance on 667 radio talk shows across the country. He spoke about his stroke and how easy it is to have one. He shared that there are over 750,000 strokes suffered each year, 1/3 die, 1/3 are wheelchair bound for life and the other 1/3 have partial or total recovery. He gave us the indicators for a stroke and passed out an info sheet on things to "guarantee a stroke." I apologize as your editor for not putting in more of the speech, but I had to scoot and Jeff did a great job of picking up for Ruparel, who did a good job picking up for Piercy. Not having more information emphasizes what a bummer it is when you don’t attend a meeting. We need you and the speakers are always wonderful and informative. Please pick up you attendance and if you are assigned a task, either show up and do it or find someone who can. MarblesLaurie drew a clear marble after having the winning number. The pot continues to grow. Help it do so by purchasing tickets each week. PLEASE BRING IN YOUR PIGGY BANKS NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
