Kerri Evans was the Centennial Rotary outbound student to France for the 2009-2010 year.  Her mother, Stacie visited her at the end of her exchange.  They will share some of their experiences.

Club Meeting - Al Frumkin Past District Governor

Please plan on bringing guests to this meeting. Our speaker will be PDG Al Frumpkin. He is coming to speak to 3 Clubs that day, on his own dime because he loves Rotary. He has served as a RI Presidential rep 18 times, including in 2 Districts in India. I have heard he is a true Rotarian and one of the finest and most passionate speakers you will have the opportunity hear. Therefore, I again ask you to plan on bringing one guest to this meeting.

The Governor of District 5450, Karen Sekich will make her official visit to our club.  She will tell us about herself and present her goals and vision for her term.

Club Meeting - Mike Befeler, Author

Mike's presentation is titled, “The Secret of Growing Older Gracefully—Aging and Other Minor Inconveniences,” which promotes a positive image of aging.  Mike Befeler is the author of the Geezer-lit mystery novels, Retirement Homes Are Murder and Living With Your Kids Is Murder, nominated for the Lefty Award for best humorous mystery of 2009. The series features octogenarian Paul Jacobson who suffers from short-term memory loss.  Mike will donate  20% of the proceeds from books he sells at the clubs to the club foundation.

Club Meeting - Mary Steinkamp, Volunteer Coordinator, Wishes Are Possible

Wishes Are Possible is an organization of people helping people.  All of the actions of WISH will positively create a spirit of people helping people and will empower people all over the world to simply be good to one another. The WISH team sees itself as a long-lasting enterprise that will continue to make good things happen for a long time to come.

Club Meeting - Arrow Sinha Roy,Bombay Mid-town Rotary Club

Arrow and his wife, Bharati are visiting Denver from India, where he is the driver behind the water projects that Centennial Rotary participates in with a coalition of Denver area Rotary clubs and the Bombay Mid-town Rotary Club of Mumbai. Arrow is currently managing three active water projects.  We are honored that Arrow is taking time in his busy schedule to visit with our club.
